Sunny Day to All, It is finally summer and I usually put the suits away and rock the summer dresses 4 out of 5 days of the week for work. So why purchase them if I can make them? Ha! This was the first make for my Summer work wardrobe. I will be sewing a few more this month. This fabric is a double knit fabric and McCall 6988 was the winner. I paired this dress with my colorful Steve Madden Pumps and finished the look with some yellow and gold accessories. Enjoy those few pics and don't forget to say hello! About the Pattern McCall 6988 is very easy. I planned to make it with 2 different fabrics next time. I am thinking of some African print and a knit for example. Ok! Let's get back to the pattern. I completed view A and chose to make it a little loose since I do want to wear it to work. I followed the instructions and although there are quite a few pieces to the pattern, it was easy to sew. I would consider this pattern a beginner pattern however some may see it as a beginner intermediate level. I cut a size 12 and it fits perfectly. Happy Sewing to you and make sure to let me know what you think of the pattern!
