Sunny Day to All, I woke up one morning and decided to make a dress that would fit no matter what the outcome was from my medical procedure. I wanted an oversized dress where I could easily hide weight gain or imperfection while I loose the weight. I looked through my pattern and found McCall 7800. This pattern looked fun. The sleeves took the attention away from the actual dress. I had this Polka dot fabric that I purchased from Gstreet fabric. And thought: Perfect!!!! It was still very nice outside so I paired it with some simple white wedges and my gold and white busy necklace. This is one of the dress that brought a smile to my face while sewing it. This dress has a special place in my heart. Also, I should share that I received plenty of compliment for this oversized dress. Enjoy these few pictures! About the PatternMcCall 7800 is definitely a quick pattern. This dress is very simple and the sleeves are super fun to make. I cut size 14 which happened to be loose and oversized. This is an oversized dress. For reference purposes, I usually cut a 14 for the McCall patterns. The instructions were super clear and easy. I used this simple white bias tape to finish the sleeves and thought it was a nice touch to the final look. Happy Sewing to You!

I don't understand that I am only seeing this polka dot dress now. Anyway, it is absolutely perfect to hide a little unwanted weight. The sleeves are very nice.
