Sunny Day to All, I am excited to share this beautiful simple top that I made on Friday night. I made a commitment to sew garments that I can actually wear on a daily basis throughout the year. I had a brunch date scheduled with my girls on Saturday Morning and thought, why not sew a cute top to wear on this sunny Saturday. Simplicity 8602 was perfect; simple pattern with minor details. I had this fabric that I purchased from Gstreet Fabric in Maryland. It is a plaid rayon knit fabric. I love this top. It is very comfortable and can be dressed up or down depending on the event. In the pics below, I chose to pair it with some jeans, blue heels (Old, can't remember where I got them from), my Aldo white purse (Click Here) and my Ray Ban Sunglasses. Of course, I made a matching scarf to add a little spice to the outfit. As I promised in my IG video, here are some pics of the final look. Enjoy these few pictures and don't forget to say hello! Ok.... Enough of the Jacket! Now time to actually share the top :-) About the PatternSimplicity 8602 was very easy. If you are looking for a quick easy top, this is a great choice. I made view A and cut size 14. I usually wear a 6 on regular clothes. This is definitely a beginner friendly pattern. I did not make any alterations. For my case, I used a plaid fabric so there were some additional steps in order to match the lines, but if you are using another type of fabric where matching lines are not necessary, it is straight to the point. The instructions were easy to follow and I will make this again very soon. Happy Sewing to You!!!

This is a nice top with my preferred color i really think that matching the line of the fabric is quiet a challenge in that model. And your final result is beautiful.

Euh, is there a law that requires you to make these beautiful clothes only for yourself? Superb taste! Very talented! I like the choice of pattern for the type of top.
