Yellow Pullover Dress: McCall 7595

Sunny Day to All,
I made this pullover dress a while back to wear as a cover up  for the beach but never had the chance to wear it. I purchased this fabric at Micheal Levine in LA.  It is a light weight knit that flows really well. When I purchased it, I was thinking about sewing a maxi dress for the summer, however, I decided to change the pattern a little bit. McCall 7595 is a pullover dress that goes around the neck. I opted for an opened look so I can wear it as a cover up if needed. Yellow is one of my favorite colors so I will be rocking this top/cover-up pretty often.  I am one not to care about seasons... The island girl comes out in full effect at times. If I want yellow in the winter, I will wear it. I paired it with my New York and Company high-waisted black Jeans , my Steve Madden sandals, my Prada shades and my custom jewelry. Enjoy the pictures....

About the Pattern

This pattern was easy. I cut a size 12 and it is a little big. However, I figured I would enjoy it as a cover up so I decided not to take it in. I made view B with some alterations. I just wanted this top/dress to be open in the front. I wanted the conservative look with a revealing sexy side. Hope that make sense because this is the best I can do with the description. Ha! The instructions were pretty easy to follow and I will definitely make this again as a long maxi dress. Happy Sewing to You and Thanks for stopping by!
