Sunny Day to All, I am from Haiti but have been residing in the East Cost in Maryland since 1999. This trip was my 3rd time to L.A. as I now have family residing there. Any sewing lovers will share my feelings when I say that the LA Fabric District is awesome. There isn't a Fabric District in DC or Maryland so I get super excited when walking in several streets filled with Fabrics. My eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. I got to visit several stores including the great Michael Levine Store that I purchase Fabric from online all the time. Of course, I purchased a lot of fabric and brought back an extra suitcase from LA. It always happens! There is always an extra suitcase coming from LA. I never got to share my previous trips but why not share this one with you guys. Enjoy these few pics!! The selection of fabric was crazy. I saw some great designer fabric that I couldn't afford. Ha! I should have taken some pictures of the fabrics, but didn't know that I was going to blog about it. Many stores allow you to bargain. The more you bought, the lower they dropped their prices. Now, I am from Haiti so bargaining is not new to me. Let's just say that I got some great deals. I planned on visiting the NY Fabric District very soon as I was told it is totally awesome. Please feel free to share where else I should travel to for the same type of excitement. Happy Sewing to You! ![]()

Los Angeles is the place to be right now. Lebron James and the Lakers are absolutely doing whatever day can to make the Lakers a dynasty again. I am amazed with what their team has been able to do in these past few days. I think that they all need to think about how they will approach the playoffs, though. They are very vulnerable when it comes to their bench, they do not have a deep enough roster to do it.
