Sunny Day to All, I was in the mood to make something out of the ordinary this past Saturday. I had an event to attend on Saturday night and of course I didn't feel like wearing anything that was already in my closet. That is the advantage of sewing. I looked over my pattern book and came across McCall 7722. It has not been cold at all lately but it is still "long sleeve" season. I picked 3 light fabrics from my stash. The flower pattern fabric is from Walmart. It is actually a polyester knit. The stripe fabric is from Gstreet Fabric in Rockville Maryland and the black fabric is a lightweight silk knit fabric (old from my stash). Since the shirt is so busy, I wanted to keep everything else simple. I paired my bold, yet classy shirt with some black shorts (old), silver jewelry, my Steeve Madden sandals (similar HERE) and some fashion shades that I really love (gifted). Of course, I had to add the red lips to complete the look. Ha! Enjoy these few pics! About the PatternMcCall 7722 is a great pattern. You may use different types of fabric to achieve another look. I chose View D and cut size 12. I did not make any alterations. It was straight to the point. I am thinking about making this patten in a beautiful Ankara fabric. I also want to make it using some glitter fabric. I can only imagine how the gathered sleeve would look. It only took a couple of hours and I was out the door for my event. I receive plenty of compliments for this shirt. So if you are in need of a quick, easy top, this pattern is a winner. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy Sewing to you and don't forget to say hello.

Hi! I absolutely love this! Can you perhaps make a tutorial on how you would make this? Also...not sure who took these photos, but they’re also perfect. All the right angles.👌🏼
