Sunny Day to All of you,
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I am sharing with you this beautiful Off the shoulder dress. As I stated before, I will continue to sew what I can wear often and not some fancy garments to snap some pictures and post on social media. I am committed to grow my closet everyday with pieces that I want to wear often.
As we continue in this pandemic, my husband and I have chosen to practice social distancing all the time by continuing to stay home as much as we can. So I am sewing comfortable clothes to wear at home, to the grocery store and may sew a couple of work clothes since I have to go to office sometimes.
This beautiful dress is pattern McCall 7744 View A. This dress was very easy to make and I love the tie in the back. it truly gives it a special finish. The fabric is from good old Walmart and it was only 2 yard. I actually bought it last year in the Williamsburg Walmart while on a family vacation. It is a polyester blend and it only cost just about $2.97 a yard. So with elastic and thread, I would say this dress cost me $10. I love sewing!!!!!!!
Hubby took me to the North Beach Boardwalk in Maryland to clear my head as I have been going through a lot lately and I took the opportunity to snap some pictures of my new dress. Let me know if you like it.
Again, Thank you for visiting my blog and don't forget to say Hello. Happy Sewing to you!
Sewing is my therapy...
