Sunny Day to All,
This dress is simple but yet so beautiful. I used pattern NewLook 6301. I can wear it to work on a nice summer day or to brunch with the ladies. In this picture, I paired it with my BCBG sandals and of course, I had to finish it off with an island touch, the bright yellow flower. LOL.

About the Pattern

If you are a beginner, this is a great pattern to try. The instructions were clear and straight to the point. I cut size 10. I used this colorful stretch rayon from Joann Fabric and it took me just a few hours to finish the dress. This was one of the very first patterns that I made. I didn't make any alterations to the pattern and I definitely will make it again. Happy sewing to you!

I am not really into flowery fabric but I LOVE the dress. Gotta admit, it wouldn't be as nice if it wasn't a flowery fabric!

Thank you my dear. The flowers do make a difference. Stay tuned as I will be making this pattern again.
