Sunny Day to All,

OMG! What a weekend! Hubby and I spent our entire Saturday in the yard. You would think we were in some type of Backyard competition on HGTV. We spent a total of 12 hours, weeding, pruning, cleaning and gardening. I can't wait to see the finish product. I shall post it when completed. On Sunday, we were supposed to spend the entire morning in the yard but I was beat. I was too tired to be in the sun all day. We were invited to a baby Shower and figured I will get to sewing. So I have so many patterns that I want to make this summer that I had a hard time picking one. It seems to be harder to pick a pattern then it is to make it lately. I wanted something flattering but not sexy. I chose this jumpsuit because I can see myself wearing it with heels to dress it up or with tennis shoes or sandals to dress it down.

I remembered purchasing this fabric from GStreet Fabric with the idea of making a perfect casual/comfy jumpsuit. Well, McCall 7755 help me achieve this look so flawlessly. It is definitely an easy pattern and I will be sewing a few more before the summer ends. I paired it with my Steve Madden snakeskin heels and rose gold jewelry. I also took a pictures with my flats to show how it can be style down. I must admit, my front porch has been showing so well in my pictures. I need to sew some more so I may enjoy my gorgeous porch!!!

About the Pattern

McCall 7755 was very easy. I made this Jumpsuit in 3 hours from cutting, serging and sewing.  I cut a medium size since I wear a 6 in normal clothing size. I had to make some alterations. I am only 5 feet tall so most pattern are longer on me than what it shows on the model. I opted to shorten the torso 2 inches and that was the best choice. It was so comfortable.   I also made the front opening a little higher since I do not have too much chest to display. A sister is only a B cup. LOL. I did not make any other alterations as the patterns was easy and to the point.  This is definitely a beginner's pattern. Happy Sewing to you my loves and don't forget to leave a comment.
